The BG RCI (Social Accident Insurance Institution for the raw materials and chemical industry) is responsible for establishing air monitoring methods for substances classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic and toxic for reproduction in working areas compiled in the DGUV Information 213-5xx series. English translations of these are published in the Wiley Online Library by the "Arbeitsgruppe Luftanalysen" (working group “Analyses of hazardous substances in air”) of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation, DFG).

This series "DGUV Information 213-5xx“ includes the brochure “Allgemeiner Teil” (DGUV Information 213-500), which lists the requirements and principles for monitoring methods and their evaluation as well as an overview of applicable and withdrawn methods (DGUV Information 213-599). Both brochures have been published in German.
